What is Big Heart Parent App?
Big Heart Parent App is a mobile application (or “app”) that:
- Allows for convenient two-way communication between parent and centre
- Serves as a platform for centres to send programmes and activity updates to parents
- Allows parents to provide consent for their children to participate in programme activities or learning journeys through digital forms
Our goal, through this app, is to connect parents and centres securely on a centralised digital platform.

Access & Login
The Big Heart Parent App is now available for download on both Apple iOS and Android OS phones.
You can download the app via the links here:
Alternatively, you can:
- Go to App Store (for iPhones) or Play Store (for Android phones) on your device
- Search for ‘Big Heart Parent App’
- Proceed to download and install the app
The Big Heart Parent App only supports the following Operating System (OS) versions:
- Android 6.0 or later
- iOS 11.0 or later
Access to the app is only given to parents, legal guardians and authorised caregivers of students currently enrolled in any of our centres. As every account is specially created for each parent upon their child’s enrolment, outsiders will not be able to log into the app on their own.
Big Heart Parent App is currently only available as a mobile application.
No. Parents will be able to access all their children’s information through Big Heart Parent App. Every family will be allowed up to two user accounts that can be logged in using the emails provided upon registration.
If you wish to update or change the email address used for login, please contact our app support team by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page.
Please ensure that you have entered the correct email address that you provided during registration, with the correct spelling. If you have forgotten the email address, you may ask your centre manager for assistance. Alternatively, you may contact our app support team by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page.
If you have forgotten the password for your account, you may tap on “Reset password link” on the login page. A new automated password will be sent to your email account. Use this new password to log into your account as per usual.
Once you have logged in, you can create a stronger password that fulfills the password requirements. Tap on “Change Password” in the main menu, and enter the old password, followed by your new password following the guidelines stated on the screen.
Parents need to update to the latest version of the Big Heart Parent App to enjoy new features and hence the instruction to update.
You can see what version of Big Heart Parent App you are currently using by viewing the login page, under “Reset password link”. The current version is “Version 1.0.7”. If you are using an outdated version, you will be prompted to update your app. You may update the app via your phone’s application store.

Account & Personal Particulars
Enter the main menu and tap on ‘My Profile’. You can tap on the edit icon in the top right corner to edit your contact details (Note: at least 1 telephone number must be indicated)
You can change the information in selected fields. Once edited, the centre manager will receive an alert that lets them know that your child’s information has been changed. Please note that the centre may require certain documents for the necessary verification.
It is important for parents to keep their contact details updated in the Big Heart Parent App as centres will use this information to contact parents directly, should the need arise.
Your child’s information that is shown in the app is taken from the information that was submitted in your e-registration. You can change the information in selected fields (e.g. dietary requirements). Once edited, the centre manager will receive an alert that lets them know that your child’s information has been changed.
Most of the fields under student particulars are not editable in order to prevent any lapses in information. If you need to change any of the this information, please inform your centre manager directly or contact our app support team by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page. Please note that the centre may require certain documents for the necessary verification.
Using the App
If you are not receiving notifications about the app, please check that you have enabled notifications for the app. You can do this by accessing your phone settings and locating the app notifications settings. If you are not sure how to locate these settings or are still not receiving notifications, please contact your centre manager and they will assist you.
Why do I not see any updates on the app (e.g. Programme Updates, Announcements, Finance, Messaging)?
If you are a new user, you will not see any updates until the centre broadcasts an update. Programme updates are usually posted on a weekly basis. If there is still no activity on the app after an extended period (i.e. more than a week) you may enquire with the centre manager directly or contact our app support team by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page.
These forms or notices require your action or acknowledgment. You will need to answer or acknowledge the forms before you can access the homepage. If you have not accessed the app in a long time, the forms and notices sent to your account will accumulate over time. To prevent this, you are advised to complete the required actions when you receive the notifications, or regularly check the app for these updates.
Only one parent needs to respond. Please note: Once consent or acknowledgement has been granted, it cannot be edited by either parent. Should there be a change in decision, parents will have to inform the centre directly.
To cut down on paper usage, parent may only view centre announcements/forms via the app. Alternatively, you can set reminders or add an event to your device’s calendar app.
