A Walk to Remember (November 2018)

Bringing together heritage and youth volunteerism, Youth Corps Singapore (YCS) teamed up with the National Heritage Board (NHB) to create the seventh run of ‘A Walk to Remember’ last November to provide YCS volunteers the opportunity to play the role of a ‘big brother/sister’ to children from Big Heart Student Care.

‘A Walk to Remember’, part of NHB’s ‘Jubilee Walk’ trail launched in 2015, is an eight-kilometre long trail that features Singapore’s historical landmarks and sites such as the National Museum of Singapore and the Singapore River, and highlights how Singaporeans have survived and prospered despite many challenges.

This event is part of Youth Corps Singapore’s ‘Common Space for Common Good’ signature initiative.
